Drove to Pitlochry yesterday to take my mother to the theatre. Trees just beginning to change colour - absolutely gorgeous.

The clouds here today have been quite dramatic and amazing. A good sky is hard to beat.

Hello all
Glad you're enjoying the calm before the Monday poem! It was the view from our bedroom window yesterday at about 7.

Colin - you could have taken my mother too if I'd known. Just a bit of a detour...

RB - yes, I took it. There have been some stunning evening skies of late. Montrose skies are pretty amazing on the whole though. There's a poem about it here.

p.s. did I ever tell you my sister's name is Rachel? ;)

I think you did, RB. And did I ever tell you it's not my real name?

I'm not quite as hot on photos as you, T, but I am working on it. It was such a lovely evening - photo doesn't really do it justice...but it hints.

Nice photo,Rachel, the weather sem sto be improved everywhere at last and long may it last too.More curious now about the monday poem. And thanks for the link back to your 'Make em laugh' blogpost which was interesting, funnily enough(pardon the pun) Frankie Boyle is another comic I haven't warmed to for the same reasons, i'm glad it's not only me.The poem was good too ! :)

Glad it was all of some interest TFE. We went to see Boyle because we had liked him on TV but though I didn't hate all of it I wouldn't say I enjoyed much of it either. If anything I enjoyed it most when he came out of 'extreme tasteless comic' mode. (We're talking about this old post by the way.) That poem has worked well when I've read it in public - better than I expected.

As for the Monday poem to come...was I talking about tasteless? This could be my moment...

How stunning is that. Even if I had skills as a painter I wouldn't be able to reproduce those colours. WOW!
