Big Stevie – Day 2

So, another Stevie Wonder song. This is one of my very, very favourites and here it is in a long live TV version from the 1970s (worth sticking with it for the backing singers getting a solo each later on). Apparently the big man is 60 this year – still going strong too if this year's Glastonbury Festival performance is anything to go by – but here he is when there was rather less of him:

You're very welcome. He's a real superstar, isn't he?

He is a musical genius, isn't he? And that voice! Where do you ever get a voice like that?
It also revived all my old backing singer fantasies, and I want Shirley's hair very badly. Considering a perm as I type.

Oh god, perms! I had some dreadful ones in the '80s (I blame the '80s for everything). I remember crying in hairdressers on at least one occasion.

No! Don't tell me that, I was feeling committed! Aren't the 80s back right now?

Not in our house!

That is one of my favorites! Always makes me think of being in Jr. High School and so unsure of that species known as boys. :)
