Radio, radio

I keep missing this series of 'Adventures in Poetry' but there's a half hour radio programme about Philip Larkin's 'An Arundel Tomb' here. Philip Spender made me laugh too!

No, some of it was beginner's Larkin (ambiguous...a writer? Surely not!) but I loved all the bits of his letters and hearing from Thwaite who knew him. And I liked much of what the presenter had to say.
I could have done without the Picardie sections (what did they add? For me - nada).
